Coworking spaces located in Teignmouth and Newton Abbot Libraries, known as Work:Spaces, are welcoming entrepreneurs, freelancers and hybrid workers this spring.
Whether you need a desk for a day, ongoing office space, or somewhere to collaborate on a regular basis, Work:Spaces have you covered. Working in a coworking environment opens the opportunity for organic networking and collaboration.
Both libraries Work:Spaces are in convenient town centre locations, with full wheelchair access. Work:Spaces facilities include free wi-fi, access to bike storage, showers, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Rachel Payne, Libraries Unlimited’s Business Development Manager, is leading the project and said: “We’re really excited about opening these fantastic spaces. We believe they will be a great asset not only to local businesses but to the towns of Teignmouth and Newton Abbot overall. The new rooms are cost effective, convenient, central and have all the facilities that start-up or expanding small businesses need. As people start to emerge post pandemic and get used to a new, hybrid way of working these spaces offer the perfect opportunity to start mixing with like-minded people and business in a shared collaborative space.”
Work:Spaces offer hot desks, individual work pods, private meeting rooms and contemporary office space; so whether it’s a quiet space you’re after or a professional environment to host a client meeting Work:Spaces can assist.
Work:space customers will also benefit from access to use the Business & Intellectual Property Centre (BIPC) which includes a range of business databases, seminars and workshops.

"A fabulously stylish space which smacks of contemporary creative muses, coupled with all the comforts an office should have - coffee, tea, fridge, WiFi and a working printer. Its a warm, light space in a delightful part of the village with plenty of space in the car parks and very easy to travel to."
