Castle Hill Work Hub in Great Torrington is officially open! On Friday 4th March Castle Hill was formally opened by the Chair of Torridge District Council, Councillor Doug Bushby. The Hub is a fantastic facility that will help to bring the entrepreneurs and SMEs of Great Torrington and surrounding areas together.
Castle Hill is a vibrant and colourful workspace located in the heart of the town. The space has 15 desks available on a range of flexible plans, as well as a bookable meeting room for up to eight people. Other amenities include an on-site café, bike storage and beautiful gardens.
The launch event was well attended with attendees including members of the council’s senior management team, Petroc and North Devon+, whose business support services will be offered through the Hub, and several local businesses.
Castle Hill is the latest addition to the growing Devon Work Hubs network. All Hubs in the network offer flexible and affordable coworking space. With an increase in hybrid working, such spaces are becoming more and more popular. Hubs offer a professional yet welcoming environment where entrepreneurs and SMEs can go to work productively, be creative and meet likeminded people.
"A fabulously stylish space which smacks of contemporary creative muses, coupled with all the comforts an office should have - coffee, tea, fridge, WiFi and a working printer. Its a warm, light space in a delightful part of the village with plenty of space in the car parks and very easy to travel to."
