Devon’s Work Hub network goes from strength to strength with three more hubs

Our Work Hub network is continuing to grow across the county with the addition of three more hubs.

Axminster, Ivybridge and Totnes are the latest to join the network, which now has a total of 22 flexible coworking spaces.

The unique aspects of each of these three Hubs reflect emerging trends in the coworking world, providing niche offerings and a heightened focus on community.

Waffle Work, located on Axminster High Street, is a community driven Hub and is free of charge to use. The Hub has on-site tech support and runs a free tech surgery on Tuesday mornings. Its on-site Waffle House café is just a door away for home-made waffles and speciality coffee.

The Tribe in Totnes is the smallest female-only coworking space in Europe. The Tribe prides itself on its community of growth-driven female entrepreneurs.

The space not only provides users with a stylishly designed work environment but also a wealth of support and the chance to collaborate with other Hub users. Stacey, the founder, is passionate about making business support and development opportunities as accessible as possible to women in business.

Makers Mews is a space to inspire creatives and makers based in Ivybridge. The space itself is housed in a 300-year-old barn and has been created using recycled materials. Makers Mews drives to maximise sustainability in everything it does.

Each member has their own workspace to create, design and trade in, and the on-site workshop is expected to be up and running soon to give Hub users a space to teach and share their skills with others.

Hear from our members

"A fabulously stylish space which smacks of contemporary creative muses, coupled with all the comforts an office should have - coffee, tea, fridge, WiFi and a working printer. Its a warm, light space in a delightful part of the village with plenty of space in the car parks and very easy to travel to."
